West Bexington is a small coastal village located between Weymouth and Bridport on the Chesil Beach in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB). The coast line is part of the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site.

The shingle beach, with fantastic views across Lyme Bay, is perfect for sea fishing but swimming is not advisable due to the strong undercurrents. The flat sandy beaches at Lyme Regis and Weymouth are patrolled by RNLI Lifeguards. Please check the RNLI website for exact dates (see link below).

BROADCHURCH
ITV's recent British Crime Drama Broadchurch is based in West Bay Harbour and surrounding area. The hit TV Series starring David Tennant, Olivia Coleman and Jodie Whittaker first aired in 2013 with further series airing in 2015 and 2017 respectively. The latter series featured a bungalow 3 doors down from KATREK.
